We are looking for a Full-Time Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is the heartbeat of our organization and provides regular water treatment and maintenance services to our customers on a weekly basis. Our team members must be reliable and professional, have a clear driving record, and a desire to learn and grow with the company as we expand.  This is a great opportunity for the right person!

Experience is not required - 4-week training program for employees. Apprentice Pay starts at $15/hr. To experienced Senior Technicians up to $20/hr.

Position Description 

The role of a Pool Maintenance Technician is crucial to the team, involving various responsibilities. The ideal candidates should possess meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering top-tier customer service. These technicians work independently while showcasing their expertise, emphasizing strong customer interaction, professionalism, and the need for a diverse skill set including water chemistry, hydraulics, and problem-solving for successful pool maintenance. 

Schedule  

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm  

• Overtime, as needed. 

• Service Area – League City, TX and surrounding areas 

Essential Functions  

• Visit approximately 10-12 customer pools per day to perform the following Weekly tasks: 

• Water chemistry testing and application of chemicals to the water as needed using mathematical equations to properly dose. (PCC-R Methods) 

• Evaluate equipment to ensure its running properly. 

• Maintain cleanliness through safe and proper skimming, brushing and vacuuming.  

• Identify any problems with the swimming pool/spa and its equipment and notify the office for repairs. 

• Use of software and app-based technology to manage and track jobs. 

• Maintain clean working environment when on-site at customer location or in work vehicle. 

• Run Parts and equipment to customer sites, as needed, for repairs.  

• Work collaboratively with Service Techs and communicate regularly to ensure proper functionality of all equipment.  

• Help in the shop, as needed, to prepare for customer delivery of parts and equipment. 

• Ensure assigned work truck is properly stocked with the needed chemicals and tools to properly treat and clean assigned pools.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment 

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to: Heat, Cold, Rain, Wind, etc. 

• Must be able to lift 0-50lbs alone safely, and 0-100lbs in a Team Lift. 

• Must be able to safely operate motor vehicles such as small and medium size pickup trucks. 

Candidate Should Possess  

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Valid Texas Driver's License 

• Ability to work overtime on short notice. 

• Ability to pass a post-offer background and drug test.
